 The result of the 7th Crunchyroll Anime Award 2023 has been announced. 18 million votes from anime lovers from 200 countries voted to see their favorites in the top spot! This year the award ceremony had a special zest as due to COVID-19 both 2021 and 2022 ceremonies were held virtually. The Grand Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan was resounding with the arrival of the celebrities. Now fans are eager to know which anime won the anime of the year? Who is the best voice actor? Which guests were present? etc.

Crunchyroll officially announced the result of the ceremony on March 4, 2023. This incredible event was hosted by Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira. Let’s have a highlighted view of the award show,


Anime of the Year

Winner: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Nominees: Cyberpunk: Edgerunners,Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, Lycoris Recoi, Ranking of Kings (Cour 2), SPY x FAMILY


Best Animation

Winner: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

Nominees:Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Ranking of Kings (Cour 2), SPY x FAMILY


Best Anime Film

Winner: JUJUTSU KAISEN 0

Nominees: Belle, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO, INU-OH, One Piece Film Red, The Deer King

Best Comedy Anime

Winner: SPY x FAMILY

Nominees: Ya Boy Kongming!, Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic, Kotaro Lives Alone, My Dress-Up Darling, Uncle from Another World
